What a beautiful weekend it was in Corrales... with Halloween just around the corner, lots of people were out scouting for the perfect pumpkin at Wagners Farm. Along with pumpkins, there was green chile stew and caramel apples to enjoy. I think Wagners is a treasure for Corrales and love this time of year when they are open for business and bustling with activity.

What a beautiful sight it was yesterday when the hot air balloons from the fiesta gently drifted over Corrales. We were sitting in the back yard with coffee cups full enjoying the spectacle. So glad the balloons were able to fly and end the fiesta on a high note. The only problem is we have two dogs who are deathly afraid of the balloons so were hiding in the house shaking away.

There seems to be more Corrales homes for sale lately in a more affordable price range. It used to be that it was almost impossible to find a nice property for under $350,000, and now there are regularly homes under this price that are quite nice. Some with views, some for horses, some near great paths, and others near the village center. It sure seems like a great time to be a home buyer in Corrales.

Once again, Kudos to the team that puts on the Harvest Festival in Corrales, NM!
The Harvest Festival is part of what makes Corrales a special place to live. Having the tractors with volunteers driving visitors and residents up and down main street with big smiles on their faces is wonderful. The Pet Parade is always a big hit and allows our children to participate in a parade and wave to all of their neighbors. The arts & crafts, food, entertainment, corn maze, Wagner's Farm, and all of the other special things in Corrales are great.

We had several home buyer's contact us who stumbled into Corrales and realized the charm that we all know and love. We showed houses and worked our way around the closed main road. It was another fabulous weekend show show real estate in Corrales, and the Harvest Festival made it even better.
